Science papers are academic papers dealing with fact writing. In addition in the writing of science papers the use of slang is unnacceptable.Most of the students are victims of slang that they use in school papers. This is not tolerated in science papers as they instantly disqualify the student.
Also the use of proper tense matters in the writing of the science papers. The student should use the past tense to explain what happened since science papers are reports written to explain a project or experiment that has already passed. In addition the writer is supposed to use active verbs in the science papers.
In the writing of science papers the writer should avoid the misuse of scientific terms. The writer should be careful not to repeat scientific terms in the science papers as the make the paper useless. In addition some words like ‘variable’ and ‘significant result’ has specific meaning in the science world hence should be used sparingly.
